The Accidental World Tour

In February, 2023 we answered a pop-up article about a three-year livaboard world cruise … well, that sounds interesting. So we booked, and started months of correspondence, planning, rearranging our home for a caretaker occupancy, selling/donating/ disposing of ʻstuffʻ, packing, and finally, imn October, boarding a plane from Hawaii to the mainland to say good-by to family and friends. A month later we arrived in Istanbul, Turkiye settled into a hotel and ready to board ship for the adventure of a lifetime. Hereʻs our story.
